Carol Lee Brosseau
Miller Gaffney '02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau '03 are the hosts of "Art Breakers,"" which premieres Sunday evening on the Ovation cable channel. It explores their careers as art brokers who connect collectors, buyers, and artists. Four episodes were created by the couple, and they will air for the entire month of October beginning on October 4th, starting at 7 pm Central. Ovation has nearly 50 million customers. It also promotes artists through its Ovation Digital Art Network. They are hopeful of getting approval to film more. Baylor was a place where I made many friends who have shaped my life. Karen Pope, Art History Department. My classes were taught by Dr. Pope. I also went with her to Chicago and Paris to study art. It was an amazing experience to study the art of her. I can recall her telling me that art history is a vast piece of work and that we need to constantly search for the correct pieces. My dad owned an auto dealership, and I was required to work at the dealership during the summer. I worked one summer as a mechanic's assistant, changing oil and brake pads.
